It's no doubt that Bapu did some good work too, his leadership started the mass movement for freedom. He awakened masses to fight for their rights and we should appreciate him for that. But why only good works of someone to appreciate his character, who is to blame for millions of death in the name of religion? Chacha who discovered the country in his book kept his silence on Indian Muslim league. Even Chacha supported khilafat movement to impress a community. What kind of secularism was that? What kind of freedom fight was that? We should ask these questions too...For me, Mr Gandhi is an icon for us but he was not God, he did some mistakes and we should talk about it.
