Lately I’ve been thinking of Samson. A dear frien

Lately I’ve been thinking of Samson.

A dear friend, a good brother.
Always looked fierce with a gentle heart and a funny accent.

The only seed - the only son.
Mid-term came and the sun came down on his family
Israfael took joy, sadness swept over Navy Town.

I remember,
The days he’d try to teach me how to ride his bicycle
By the roadside close to Victor’s house before Officer’s quarters.
We’d go for hours, and laugh at my many falls with Tope.

I lost him, and I never rode a bicycle.

Rest well, Samson Dakoru.
Thank you for the memories. Rest well, Samson.
