The Last six: Everyone's eye was on me and I had to face the most ferocious bowler, Kartik, of mechanical department. Last ball of the final match, and we needed six runs to win. I had seen from the middle the tense faces of branch mates and witnessed the teary eyes of Lipika. For the first time, I had seen those gorgeous eyes dropping tears in the fear of losing something important. For the glory of the branch and for keeping the collar high, every eye from our camp had wanted to me to do the miracle. Looking at Kartik, I had made myself ready holding my stance, to face the last ball. Controlling my breath, I had swung my bat and to my serendipity, the ball had gone miles in the air to reach over the fence. Smiles and tears of branch mates had made the atmosphere electrifying and I had become a hero. The last six had changed everything and most importantly Lipika's perception about me of being so irresponsible and cantankerous in my action. As she had rushed to tell me, 'well done man, you have become responsible and I don't hate you any more, keep it up', my heart had ballooned with enthusiasm to say, 'thank you, Lipika for again believing in me, and I do promise that I will never ever break your heart in the future.
