Dear Self, Your purpose isn’t everyone’s purpose Your personalit isn’t the same as those around you Your progress isn’t the same as other people’s And your life path is completely unique to you. Sometimes we get off course When we put pressure on ourselves To fit into situations we don’t belong in Or follow the timelines of others And when we spend our time being envious of others Rather than investing it in ourselves and our own lives And building a better life for ourselves But there is peace to be found In knowing who you are All you are capable of And where you best fit in the world In living a life that is meaningful and worthwhile In not restricting or limiting yourself out of fear Or preventing yourself from doing things that are fulfilling to you And that satisfy your heart and soul In understanding That we all experience different struggles We all tend to different wounds And we are all busy Focusing on different things at different times And in refusing to compare the first chapter of your life To a later chapter of someone else's. ©purvarth #dearself
