I may be pointed at as an ill informed privileged commentor but trust me I know how it differs from people who are brought up with an attitude of respect to women vs people who are not. Its just that these latter folks find it easy to start an act of oppression through eve teasing in public view because they know you won't retaliate by virtue of self respect, they know your upbringing. Maybe you should retaliate, maybe give them an earful in public and I say this for men and women both, because teasing is something that can happen to anyone. Just stop segregating the crowd into this gender privilege politics and start fighting the values that drive these heinous activities. Translation :
