this is not comedy, this is humiliation If you're an artist, a comedian to be precise, you have to work extra hard behind the scenes to make people laugh, which is not an easy thing to do if you ask me. A good comic performance in front of your eyes takes tens of thousands of hours of practice, rehearsals, visualisation and dedication. And even after all the work, sometimes the night just doesn't go your way. You know, life. But sometimes, the night turns terrible for an artist, this I witnessed in the episode 'Dr. Mashoor Gulati In A Witness Box' of The Kapil Sharma Show. Akshay Kumar was the guest, which meant the show would be an exciting one. Akshay being Akshay was very keen on becoming the centre of attention and he did make his intentions very clear. Just around 3 minute mark of the youtube video, Kapil even mentioned to Akshay that he always messed the script but the previous shows had been a hit and this particular show was already on so Akshay or anyone didn't really pay any attention and took it as a joke. Now, this joke in a show which is supposed to be full of jokes was ignored and the things obviously went pretty bad from there. Akshay was seen lifting and placing Sunil Grover on the fake witness box. But the character Mr. Gulati was still playing the character despite the absolute garbage happening around him. Some more minutes rolled by and the audience got involved. Akshay Kumar was the star so they obviously got behind him while he was doing the 'comedy', which is actually humiliation of a hard working artist.
