I will be back soon. Under no circumstance let it touch the ground; do you hear me? The boy nodded, tightly grasping the Atma-lingam. Satisfied that the boy had understood, Ravan left. What a shock 😲 he got when he returned! The Lingam was on the ground and the boy was nowhere to be seen! "Aaargh! Ravan ran to pick it up. But it was sinking into the ground. "Unngg hhhh!" Ravan pulled. But the Lingam did not budge. "Huh? This is no Lingam! These are cow ears now! a defeated Ravan stopped tugging. (These cow ears sticking out became the site of a famous temple called Gokarnam or cow's ears. People pay respect to Shiva's Atma-lingam here). Thus, Ravan returned to Lanka with nothing to show!
