RETIREMENT.... I went inside his office to clear out his files. To clear out all the sweat and fret of his life Then I saw a letter on his table addressed to me. It says "Dear son,please read this and don't ignore me". I am an old man now,about 70 years of age. I have laboured and toiled every night and day. I have make this table my cubicle,and it is my cage. For it has made me lose people who could have make my day. I care about other people's comfort and not my convenience. Their happiness is my priority, and not my own blessedness. Now that I'm old,I began to wonder if indeed I'm successful. In my work,I'm successful, but socially, I'm failed so pitiful. I make my work so dear to me,and not my family. Now that I am retired,I feel the distance between we. I beg of you that as you are assuming my post today. Don't make the mistake I made,so don't forget this day. ........My retirement come too soon,and I regret this day.
