said the frost to the drizzle,
"must you always barge into my affairs?!"
a perplexed droplet asked of a whisker of the mist,
"must they always quarrel despite never once clashing with one another?"
the whisker nudged the mist,
"must you have returned after being out of reach for so long?"
poor old mist, let out a groan of annoyance,
"'Tis those pesky childs of our mother! sole responsible are they, yes, for the ruins of all nature! now float away, you! let me care for mother whilst the childs are on with their...ah, curses!"
the whisker returned to the droplet,
"says Tis the childs that have laid ruin to us; now off you go. mother expects you soon."
the droplet, unsatisfied, shrugged and descended upon to meet mother...

the frost,
pushed aside,
hovered about the bounds of mother,
awaiting her descent, despite it being her time of the year as was... A rather long impending follow-up to a freestyle poem I wrote on #winteriscoming (see pinned post) last year. Hope you guys and YourQuote Baba enjoy this one just as much as you guys did the previous.
Given how the weather had been unstable over the course of the past few months, I might do a third poem in this series if I get the right ideas for the third.
