The way you react to it,
the way you are rewarded

When you are being tested don't say, "Ya Rabb, why me?"

Instead say,
"Ya Rabb,Me?!
You chose me for your love?"

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said
"Allah tests those whom he loves"

Days passed by.
I was given a whiteboard to communicate until I learnt sign language.
Me and my friends started communicating through whiteboard.
They'd write and I'd reply the answer by writing too.

One day I got frustrated with this routine and threw the pen away.
I wanted to calm down.
I wanted to recite some Qur'an.
But I realised. I cannot anymore.
Okay,maybe listen? I thought.
Nope,that too I cannot.
I got more angry,helpless too.
My friends were confused, and I couldn't even convey my feelings.
What's the point even if they know?

My moments of heedless have gone by.
I abandoned the Qur'an in my good days.
And now, when I need it the most,
I cannot.

I woke up in a hospital bed.
My loved ones nearby me.
They speak but I can't hear them.
I try to speak but they can't hear me.
The doctor bring a notepad and started to scribble something down.

"You have lost your hearing and speaking abilities forever because of the accident".

I was taken aback. I could believe what my eyes just read.

If the only time you recite Qur'an is in your prayers,
Then make the recitation worth it.

Rabb hai ta umr Rabb hai.
Marne se pehle marne ke baad,
Duniya mein aane se pehle dunya mein aane ke baad,
Mehshar mein Jannat mein,
Sirf Rabb hai

Dil TOOTNE PAR RUK GAYA
AUR USKE BAAD KUCH LIKHA HI NAHI

LAGTA HAI HUMARE NASEEB MEIN
 ISHQ LIKHTE WAQT QALAM KI
SIYAHI KHUSHK HO GAYI It stopped at heart breaks
And never wrote anything after that.

Seems like the ink of the pen dried up while writing about love in my fate.

It stopped at heart breaks And never wrote anything after that. Seems like the ink of the pen dried up while writing about love in my fate.

Following his Sunnah
 ————————

Imagine meeting RasoolAllah (ﷺ) at the hawd(pond).
You telling him all the tales about the dunya, all the sufferings you went through.
And him appreciating you,and your choice to follow his sunnah.
Not only in other matters,
but on how you dealt with these tough times.
Bearing patience, having sabr and holding onto these emotions,
not letting them take over you or your mental stability,and most importantly;
not ruining your relationship with Allah (SWT).
For indeed sadness is okay,it's natural;
But ummati RasoolAllah (ﷺ) will never fall in despair.

So do things that'll make your habeeb (ﷺ) smile at you on that awaited day!

Today when I felt low
I looked at the moon,
and Alhamdulillah it was a full moon night.
It reminded me of RasoolAllah(ﷺ).
He was alone,and lonely too.
But he had Allah.
Only Allah.
Yet his Rabb was enough for him.
Then I realised.
His Rabb is my Rabb too.
I too have Allah.

That comforted me.
