Standing with a blank view , On the edge of the sea. Each tide leads mind to stagger, But add an unwanted glee. The flames of sea are yet calm, Forthwith we see a torrential view. At once it may seem wild, But brings a nostalgic feeling to you. You will feel your mind & heart, Soothes at the same time. Creating a peaceful ambience, Singing a song or hymn. We should not let money, make the whole case blur. We brag about our laws, And talk about women rights. But see the fallacy , Where women are not safe at night . White Once, I went to seek A place to fulfill my dream. Meghalaya, abode of clouds, To me, a heaven it seems. Place where every pain, decides to cease. A place of magic, where joy flows like a breeze. While dwelling through leafy grass, It's touching my feet like foam. I saw a hazy image of a girl where I roam. Seeing her beautiful eyes, makes me amazed. I suddenly realized the time. From her, I shifted my gaze. In my mind, her beauty is tranquil. My mind loses its sense. Opened my eyes for a second view, which makes me look dense. She is as beautiful as before, With her luminescent eyes, Looking clearly at her toes. realized, there the truth lies. It has no lively touch, Just a pale piece of log. All my feelings for her beauty disappear in the fog. It's a lifeless body, Built like a human soul. Journey from being a girl to women _________________________ From a girl, Till becoming a women. Is a long journey, Many emotions we lost and gain. When we are small, We are call kids. Easily we get mercy, For any wrong deeds. That time frame for us, Is nothing less than fairy tale. We make castle of dreams. In the vast ocean,we dreamt to sail. But now we are taught to become, Compatible for a groom. He will take our responsibility, As if we can't make our own , people assume. "You are obease and dark", "Cause my son like girls who are fair" These are just not words, But a source of pain that every girl bare. A question that I always thought of, How a girl is dressed, Why should always meet the standard, Of people's beauty test. POVERTY One day after boarding a bus, I got a window seat. I was enjoying the view outside , and gradually tapping my feet. When the bus stopped , An incident drew my attention . It was enough to scarred my mind , So that incident I want to mention. A boy merely of 10 years, working at a cycle Store. Repairing the cycle with his little hands, Although his palm became sore. The wheels started rolling again , And the bus started to run . The tears in those innocent eyes, Make me feel stunned. I didn't get enough time , To overcome the shock. Again I saw little girl, Wearing a soiled frock. In the scorching heat, Waiting at the bus stand . For getting a few coins , She had a bowl in her hand. Again the bus started its engine, And the girl went off my sight. I utter in my mind , Is this called child right? We educate our own child, And it is really fine. But the children in streets , Are still below poverty line. In becoming a developed country , Every one has to play a role. We never know that the child on street, Can be a diamond hidden inside coal. ©Arundhuti Biswas

The sun shines with full strength. For making us divulge about summer span, The time when every water droplets matter, And people can't live without ac or fan. As if nature is having a fever, So its temperature is high. People are asking for heavy rain, Cause it is the last resort where we can rely.
