Dear Friend,

There was a time when we use to hang out, laugh, play and had lots of fun on friendship day.
Then there came a period, where friendship day means to simply wish each other via text messages.
Later on that friendship day got limited to tagging each other and leave a post on social media..
Today is the time when we feel awkward to wish each other and meet personally also.
Maybe amidst of chaos we have lost our communication, but deep down inside everyone of us misses the good old days spent with each other and are nonetheless connected by heart.

Every Social media presence but no one to get social.
Hundreds of friends, yet no one to share feelings.
Many to call close, but not a single shoulder to weep.
Emptiness like isolated and alone in a crowded room.
I inhale loneliness like it is sweet smell of virgin Earth.
Nostalgic feeling in the air, all alone.

I appreciate the loneliness in me.
