खुले आसमाँ के नादाँ परिंदों की सिसकती ज़ार के जैसे
आयी वो मेरे इस छोटे समाँ में ऐसे
कि अब वो ही बन गयी साँस मेरी, मेरे ही समाँ में जैसे।।

Years ago, the sun advanced from dusk to dawn
A man came holding a book and coat well donned
Persecuted by the male and female evils of great humanity
Whose dual standards for clans were beyond insanity
Bolstered by the barbarities and injustices suffered
He decided to end all at once that was buffered
Thee shall consider all folks balanced and equal
As all hordes are crafted by almighty coequal
He was well-versed with the bigotary and partisanships
Which was to end very soon with humanity's whip
Equality was soon destined to befall
And he was barely a medium after all.

"Go, live with pride and dignity," he said with zeal
Hearing which, all applauded with the Utopia of weal
Numerous have martyred for this sacred day
Just to make possible for it to come one day
It was a dream viewed by thousands of Indians
That blossomed to the verity by immolation of millions
It's hard to pen the immolations and baptism of blood
As it would abase the enormity of great spirits in mud
All which could be penned is the sentiments and cogitations
Of the great spirits that fought for the freedom of the nation.

Many have martyred and many are been
Just for respect, dignity, and keeping the commonwealth clean
Clean from the nuisances and evil blood of evil eyes
And to not let down our country pride and it's spirit die
People must admire the sacrifices made for this day
As it would be great homage to those who died for the day. Republic Day
