*दोस्ती और धर्म* आधे घण्टे की उस ब्रेक में, होता था हमारा खाना साथ। क्योंकि सेवईयां उसकी अम्मी बनाती थी, और हलवा था मेरे माँ का खास।। मजहब की दीवारें थी काफी ऊंची, पर महसूस नहीं होने दिया उसे अनाथ। सर पे उसकी भले ही थी टोपी, पर दोस्तों में बो मेरा था सबसे खास। पर एक रात कुछ यूं हुआ, न पता था किसकी है गलती। देखते ही देखते पल भर में जल गई पूरी बस्ती, जिनका ना था कोई कसूर वो भी जलके राख हो गए। कुछ को मिला मुआवजा, और कुछ खाक हो गए। जिंदगी जब दी उसने तो नहीं सोचा, किसे बनाऊ रहीम और किसे बनाऊ राम बस इतना ही तो फर्क है मिया, कोई करे आदाब तो कोई करे प्रणाम। दीवाली ईद बस बनके रह गए हैं त्योहारों के नाम क्या करोगे मजहब बाट कर मिया, मरने के बाद किसे रहते है याद नाम। इस दो पल की ज़िंदगी में खींच दी हमने एक लम्बी लकीर, क्यों भुल जाते हो बनके आए थे हम सब एक फकीर। कभी गुजरात तो कभी मुज्जफरनगर कांड, ये सब बनाते हैं चंद लोगों को अमीर। कहीं ऐसा ना हो हम आपस में लड़ते रहे, और कोई और ले जाए काश्मीर। जिस चांद को देख किसी का ब्रत तो किसी का रोजा टूटे, बस मजहब के चक्कर में अपना ये हिन्दुस्तान न टूटे। इस सपने को पूरा करने में कुछ अपने ही क्यू न रूठे, बस मजहब के चक्कर में अपना ये हिन्दुस्तान न टूटे।
