In the quiet echoes of my mind,

I try to move past, to break free,
But you remain, an unending melody.

I can’t remember to forget you,
Your laughter still rings clear and true.
Every tear that falls, every sigh,
Whispers your name in the night's sky.

Time moves on, yet I stand still,
Haunted by the void you fill.
The shadows of our yesterdays,
Dance in my heart, in endless plays.

I want to erase, to start anew,
But every dawn, I remember you.
The ghost of love, both sweet and cold,
Keeps my heart in a vice-like hold.

I search for peace, for some respite,
But memories burn, like stars at night.
I can’t recall how to forget,
The love we shared, the unspoken debt.

So here I stand, trapped in between,
A broken heart and dreams unseen.
Forgetting you, a task untrue,

साए से भी डरते हैं हम,
रात के अंधेरों में कहीं खो से जाते हैं हम।
हर परछाई में छुपे हैं कुछ डर,
जिनके सामने खुद को कमजोर पाते हैं हम।

दर्द का अक्स है हर साया,
जाने कौन सी यादों का खौफ लाया।
बीते लम्हों के घाव दिल में गहरे,
उनके निशां से अब भी थर-थराते हैं हम।

खामोशी में चीखती हैं कई बातें,
ख़्वाबों की गलियों में खोई हुई मुलाकातें।
जो था कभी अपना, आज अजनबी सा लगता,
उसी के ख्यालों से कांपते हैं हम।

रात के सन्नाटे में दिल के राज़ उभरते,
वो भूले-बिसरे पल फिर से सताते।
जिन रिश्तों ने दिया था कभी सहारा,
उनकी यादों से अब जलते हैं हम।

साया जब तक था, न थी इतनी दूरी,
अब उसी की गैर-मौजूदगी से है ये मजबूरी।
जो कभी हमारे थे, अब पराए से हैं,
उन्हीं के साए से भी अब डरते हैं हम।

हर सुबह की रौशनी में बसा अंधेरा।
दिल के जख्मों को छुपाने का हुनर,
रोते रोते मुस्कुराने का हुनर।

हर आहट में बसी उसकी यादें,
हर ख्वाब में बसा उसका चेहरा।
दिल के अरमानों को दबाने का हुनर,
रोते रोते मुस्कुराने का हुनर।

हर दर्द को हँसी में बदलने का जादू,
हर आँसू को मुस्कान में बदलने का फितूर।
दिल के दर्द को छुपाने का हुनर,

रात भर इस चाँद का साया रहा,
दिल में यादों का अफसाना सजा,
ख्वाबों में बसा एक चेहरा प्यारा,
अंधेरों में भी चमकता सितारा।

चाँद की रौशनी में बिखरे थे अरमान,
तन्हाई में भी बस वही था दरमियान,
हर सिसकी में उसकी आवाज थी,
रात भर उस चाँद का साया था साथ।

मासूम चाँदनी में छिपे थे राज़,
आँखों से बहे अनकहे से अल्फ़ाज़,
हर तारों में उसकी झलक थी,
रात भर इस चाँद का साया ही था।

सपनों की चादर ओढ़ कर बैठे थे,
ख्वाबों के मोती चुनते रहते थे,
हर आहट में उसकी खुशबू बसी थी,
रात भर उस चाँद का साया ही दिल में बसा था।
