न तुम्हें हासिल होगा कुछ न हमको गँवारा होगा तसल्लियाँ भरम बन जाएँगी कि वक़्त हमारा होगा आज सनम को ख़ुदा मोहोब्बत को इबादत समझो कल नज़रें धुँधली हुईं तो एक अलग नज़ारा होगा मैंने ग़लत किया तुम्हें चाँद इश्क़ को आसमाँ लिखा अमावस की रातों में मुहाल तन्हाँ गुज़ारा होगा इल्तिफ़ात रखना कि प्यास सफ़र में मुक़म्मल हो सुना है अब के सहरा की आग़ोश में किनारा होगा चलो लम्हा-ए-वस्ल को एक उम्र का ख़िताब देते हैं किश्तों में बिकती यादों को मय का सहारा होगा सिलवटें सेज पे बिखरी मोहोब्बत का सुकून थीं 'क़ासिद' बहोत ज़ालिम था शख़्स जिसने चादर सँवारा होगा मुहाल - Difficult - कठिन इल्तिफ़ात - Attention - ध्यान सहरा - Desert - रेगिस्तान लम्हा-ए-वस्ल - Moment of meeting - मिलन का पल मय - Wine - शर
