तुम्हारे इंतजार में बैठे रहे। सावन की ये रिमझिम झड़ियां अनवरत बरसती रहीं, ये आंखें तुम्हें देखने के लिए न जाने कब तक तरसती रहीं । न तुम आए, और न तुम्हारे आने की आस रही, तुम जान नहीं सकते कि ये तन्हाइयां हमें किस क़दर खटकती रहीं। हम पहाड़ी पर उतरे हुए उन बादलों को देखे रहे, और साथ–साथ तुम्हारे इंतजार में बैठे रहे। झरने की भांति आंखों से झर–झर पानी झरता रहा, मिलन का एक ख़्वाब भी मन ही मन में तिरता रहा। हम झमाझम बारिश में खेत की मेढ़ में बैठे भीगते रहे, न जाने क्यों इन मोतियों सी बूंदों को देखकर भी भीतर से कुछ–कुछ खीझते रहे।। तुम्हारे आने की आस न होने पर भी हम क्रोध में वहीं पर ऐंठे रहे, बदन ठंड से कुढ़ने लगा फिर भी हम यूं ही बैठे रहे। न तुम आए और न तुम्हारे आने की आस रही, कुछ न रहा हमारे पास, बस तन्हाइयां ही साथ रहीं। कैसे बताएं कि हम उस हाल में कैसे रहे, ख़ुद को अपनी ही बाहों में पकड़े बैठे रहे। हम उस पार पहाड़ी से गिरते सफ़ेद झरने को देखे रहे, और साथ–साथ तुम्हारे इंतजार में बैठे रहे।। नदियों का कोलाहल न जाने क्यों शोर मचाता रहा, मेघों की गर्जन सुनते ही ये मन भी तुमसे मिलने के लिए जोर लगाता रहा। बैठे–बैठे इंतजार के सिवा और क्या हमारे हाथ में था? बारिश, एकांत, नदियों का कोलाहल, मेघों का गर्जन,सब हमारे साथ में था, बस एक तू ही था जो हमारे पास में न था। न जाने क्यों हम एकांत में भी वहीं पर ऐंठे रहे, हम पहाड़ी पर से बादलों को ऊपर उड़ते देखे रहे, और साथ साथ तुम्हारे इंतजार में बैठे रहे।। ©Deepa Ruwali #kavita #kavya #poetry #writer #writing #thought
