When I go away from you To work out the arithmetic of life I fall prey to miseries, tensions and anxieties I know it but commit the same mistake time and again My ego never leaves me It comes in different guises And when it comes You go away leaving me alone In a pool of mundane desire and sorrow Unless you wish My ego will never dissolve I can not get over traces of ego That plays havoc with me Maa! don't add to my ego And run away from me Let my ego melt and the ocean of bliss emerge The prodigal son is at your feet Bless me!
