•The last restaurant bill• Flipping the menu from soup to dessert, we all decided what to eat. But papa's role in ordering food was like the silent letter in a short word, present yet never spelt and heard. The food was served on the dine and the aroma was tasting fine. The dangling spoon were singing in a silent chorus, and teeth were dancing as per the beats. In an A.C restaurant, papa's sweat abruptly ran down. He'll be back in 2 minutes was all he said, and made a run to escape from the door. Food was over and his two minutes too. But no sign of his return was predictable. Tummy was filled and it was time for the bill. Fortunately, I found papa's wallet under the table and paid the bill. Nom nom nom!
