These moments made me remember my first paper boat again. I still remember how I felt that day. Someone had taught me to make paper boats. I made my first one and placed it on a stream of water while it was raining, and watched the boat float and move a bit while my heart began to fill with joy. And then suddenly, that boat began to sink. I panicked and tried to pick it back up to make it float again. And the moment I began trying, it started getting torn into pieces. The more I tried, the more pieces of it I had in my hand. That day, when I held those pieces of my first paper boat in my hand, standing under that rain, realizing that the paper boats sink. I felt something. Something that can never be caged in mere words. ©Akshay Vasu Paper boat #akshayvasu #paperboat #memories #heartbreak

I wrote everything about myself on that paper, made a paper boat, and let that surge with the river, thinking that it would drown soon. But it didn't. The river carried that paper boat into the ocean with it. And the ocean carried it to infinity. ©Akshay Vasu Paper boat #akshayvasu #paperboat #infinity #ocean #river

©Ehssas Speaker #carrying a paper boat..

After I created that paper boat, I added wings to it. I don't know why I did that, but I did it anyway. Probably, I thought if a day comes where it would face the threat of drowning, I hoped it would fly. But since that day, even though I love this boat that I have created, hopelessly. I've been searching for the water that would try to drown it just to watch it fly. ©Akshay Vasu Paper boat #akshayvasu #paperboat #irony #wings #love

°°Of Paper Boats and I°° It's today that I wait for monsoons to arrive. To let the songs of rain engulf the dancing peacocks. The sunlight tries to convince the birds to teach it dance too, while the dust around forms unfathomable paintings of inferiorities. It's today that I wait to let off my paper boats sail through the rising waves, through the subsiding ripples with a fragile mast of paper. I dream of me, sailing in the haze of poetry only to be lost in it. It's only today that I wait for those paper boats to carry me with them. And, it will be tomorrow that I'll wait for monsoons to depart, very soon. Story! MY 1st PAPER BOAT! Here is a story about my favourite paper boat where I get to know the pain of losing it due to an unexpected circumstance! CHARACTERS: ⭐ Swetha- a 10 year old girl(narrator of the story) ⭐ Lisa- Swetha's step mother. ⭐ Lucy- Swetha step sister- 12 year old girl. ⭐ Savitha- Swetha' s real mother Thinking back about my childhood days now, it's really absurd and and a nostalgia feeling! Right now I am a high school student who just wants to pursue my dreams. Its like I went through my childhood days by an actual time machine as my memory about my childhood is just that much vivid! Well.....wanna hear my story, guys? I was studying in my 6th grade and nearly knew nothing about the outside world. My mother, Savitha died in an unexpected event, being a reporter. Nevertheless, she was a kind and wonderfull mother that I had cherished so much despite getting her hands full on work everytime. However, I became quite lonely, after my mother passed away. My father married someone who was an Anglo Indian and her name was LISA. What could I even expect from my step mother? After all, she had her own daughter to take care of. Unfortunately, Lisa's daughter became my older sister who was stubborn, short tempered, and a person who longs for other's stuff, once she sets her mind to it. I must say she always had some nerve to make poor souls shed tears terribly! One fine day, I was completely bored and was staring at the lifeless skies. Being in solitude is one thing, but getting bored really left me annoyed. Everything around me commenced to lose its colours. And my father was always away doing business overseas. I had no one to play with and even a soul to strike the conversation. But this was only till when my step mother finally came forward to talk with me one day. Astonishingly she asked me in a depressing tone,"Are you lonely, dear?" Back then, I didn't know what to answer or how to answer. ©Tiny glowing star! Story Time- My First Paper boat! What do paper planes remind me of? I dunno much on it, never successfully made one. Sure, I've seen plenty fly by me and sometimes I've seen them carry snippets of stories of bloodlust and washed away guilts. And they soared high. Mine always crash landed instantly. I can tell you about paper boats, yes. Always waited for the monsoons and water logged alleys because I was good at making them, paper boats. Part 2 Ofcourse, I was lonely but how am I supposed to express it? I stayed silent for a while and then she raised a question again, " if you are not too busy, would you mind accompanying me in making some paper boats?" I was in a state of bewilderment! No one ever asked me to make paper boats with them nor accompanied me in doing. I just nodded my head and she held my hand warmly and took me and my sister to a riverside with some colour papers. I was actually wondering why would she take me to a riverside to make paper boats. Then, I made some paper boats with my step sister and my mother lisa. I was shocked at the sight that she too got immensely involved in making paper boats. She then exclaimed, " Woah... what a beautiful paper boat, dear!", looking at my handmade paper boats. Somehow being with her, calmed my heart. The next minute, she grabbed some of my boats and slowly dropped them in the river one by one. The paper boats was actually moving really fast and in a steady manner, without sinking in the water. I was glimmering with a smile due to astonishment. I had made a lots of paper boats before, but nothing really felt like the real one. That time, I felt that it was the first paper boat that I had made perfectly. Watching all this , my older sister got jealous and threw all of my paper boats away into the flowing water. Everything sank into the water and nothing was left. I started crying and making a fuss over it. But my step mother came forward and told me to strech out my hands. Looking at my hands gently, she said," You have such flawless hands, dear! Why don't you try to make one again and make it float on the water?" She gave me a blissful smile after saying it. The surroundings around me actually turned into bewitching colours right after that. I was no longer crying over a boat, when I understood I could actually make countless of them. Fortunately, my step mother didn't scold my older sister horribly for her wrong doing. Well... She actually became my real mother after that incident. My solitude faded away! Now and then, we( my mother and me)would make paper boats to cherish that memory of childhood days. My first ever handmade boat which floated on water, made me to understand my mother's heart, Lisa who was actually an angel, appeared to cover the black hole in my heart!! The end....... - Swetha. ©Tiny glowing star! Story time.. My First Paper Boat! Part 2!! Be sure to comment about the story, guys!! #Nightlight
