Let your heart be still, let your mind rest The heart holds so many Has been held by so many That all it now desires is the warmth of a bed. Let it lie..in truth Expose it, free it It's rawness needs to be made love to Shrouded in hate, pickled in jealousy and envy It's innocence lies shattered. The mind has misled it, led it astray Assuring it love, in momentous pleasures Letting it fall, halting it's rise Breaking it into a thousand pieces Each piece writhing in agony Of shattered faith, Of unrequited love, Of not letting it bask in the beauty of now.. Aye, let your heart be still, let your mind rest Life will, anyways, continue taking love's every test For a better read: Let your heart be still, let your mind rest The heart holds so many Has been held by so many That all it now desires is

I shrouded my scars and defended myself with the fear of society . The dishonest was to be taught a moral lesson And this was a righteous decision herald with a round of applause And a gesture of gratitude to God I was on my knees to thank almighty. Standing on the shore, arms stretched, To the sky, deep blue, and endless, She wished upon the universe, To bring some news of the beloved. Far across the ocean, Where the horizon met the sky, He had set sail, on a windy day, Leaving her with hopes to survive. Questions shrouded her mind. About the uncertainties of the future. Hearts often drift apart, Distances cause rifts. Out of sight, and out of mind, Often leads to hearts that bleed. She sat everyday on the shore, Awaiting a news or a return. Each day her heart broke piece by piece, As hope faded like the setting sun. But it so happened one day, Where the waves came crashing on the shore, Something shone in the light of the sun. She ran to it to in eagerness. And found a bottle afloat. Transparent and tightly sealed A note inside read: "If destiny does get this to you, Let Fate guide me to you." "Message in a Bottle" by Suranya Standing on the shore, arms stretched, To the sky, deep blue, and endless, She wished upon the universe, To
