ನ್ಯಾನೋ ಕತೆ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ : ಯುದ್ಧ ಎರಡು ದೇಶಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಗಡಿರೇಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮರವಿತ್ತು, ಆ ಮರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮರಿಹಕ್ಕಿಯು ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿತು, ಅಮ್ಮ!!.. ಯುದ್ಧವೆಂದರೆ ಏನು??... ಯುದ್ಧವೆಂದರೆ ಬೇರೇನಿಲ್ಲ ಕಂದಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದೇ ಯುದ್ಧ. ಯುದ್ಧವು ಯಾವಾಗ ಕೊನೆಯಾಗುವುದು ?? ಎಂದು ಮರುಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿತು ಮರಿಹಕ್ಕಿ.. ತಾಯಿ ಹಕ್ಕಿಯು ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿತು ಎರಡು ದೇಶಗಳ ಜನನಾಯಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಣ್ಣಾಗುವ ತನಕ, ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು ಮುಗಿಯುವ ತನಕ, ಕೂಡಿಟ್ಟ ಹಣ ಬರಿದಾಗುವ ತನಕ, ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಜಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೆಯವರ ಲಾಭ ಎಂದು ಅರಿಯುವತನಕ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ..... ಎಂದು ತಣ್ಣಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿತು.
