The Mountain had a Story to Tell Holding Mr. Ravi Kumar's finger, little Sruthi expressed her desire to climb the mountain. Ravi Kumar loved to climb but didn't want to risk harming his little granddaughter. He looked at her and said, "My dear, you are too small to climb, and I'm too old." "Yes, I know, Grandpa, but we both have a strong mind, and that's enough, isn't it, Grandpa?" little Sruthi asked her grandfather. Ravi Kumar observed the confidence in her face and then turned his gaze to the mountain, which responded with a smile. He thought, "Such confidence at such a young age will take her places." Little Sruthi, already filled with excitement, was ecstatic as they reached the top of the mountain. She looked at her grandpa and said, "Yes, I was confident, but holding your hands gave me an assurance of safety." Tears came out of Ravi Kumar's eyes, and he hugged her. After spending some time on the mountain, they began to climb down. As they came down, little Shruthi turned back and saw the mountain smiling at her. She continued to hold Ravi Kumar's finger and hopped down the hill. Years later, Shruti is back in the same place with her son. The mountain smiled at her, and she climbed with her son. Shruti walked down the memory lanes and felt like someone holding her fingers. It wasn't her son who was sitting down on the grass. A cool breeze began to blow, and she once again felt someone holding her finger and standing beside her. Shruti turned back, looked at the mountains, wiped her tears, and said,"Oh, my dear grandpa!" She felt nostalgic. Before continuing down the hill with her son, she once again looked at the mountain. The mountain smiled at her! ©Krishnan #Mountains #nostalgic #Nostalgia #grandfather #Granddaughter

From afar I've been admiring you silently Your beauty is beyond words The way you walk The way you talk The way you smile Makes my heart stop I've been rehearsing in my mind Words to say to let you know They way you laugh The way you cough It may sound crazy But I think of it alot I've been daydreaming of you I can't seem to stop myself The way your hair is The flattering glasses The warmth you give me Could heat up the masses I've written about you a few times Every encounter sends me spinning The way you giggle I hear you from afar I would not ask anything But for you to remain Just as you are ©Schizology From afar #Afar #love❤ #poem✍🧡🧡💛 love story

White Grandma Stories I still love to hear those stories narrated by my grandmother. From the starting punch line of "Once upon a time...." to the exciting finishing statement, and finally, after that, they lived happily." I used to get engrossed in every nuance of her narration. I used to persuade her to narrate the Cinderella-type story many times. The way she used to begin was perfect, drawing me into her story. "Once upon a time, there used to be a pretty girl who often rested her heart, mind, and soul every evening on the steps of the porch of her house after doing all household chores dumped on her by her arrogant stepmother and sisters. She knew no prince would come out of nowhere and hold her hand before taking her away. It happens only in dreams. Still, she waits for someone who wouldn't come. She knows that she is bound to continue as a puppet here. But what if, one day, her waiting pays off?" Then my grandmother sighed deeply and expressed her wish as she looked at me: "You know, Krishna, I hope that, one day, the prince from her dream will arrive and rescue her from this hell. But none of us can predict the future." I then raised my head from her lap and looking at her eyes, I put forward my curiosity, "Will the prince arrive, Grandma?" "Even the gods cannot resist the glowing beauty that radiates from her, along with her pure heart—let alone a prince! Let's see." She remarked before continuing with her story! ©Krishnan #Grandma #grandmother #storytelling #Childhood #childhood_memories
