Clouds, like whispers, drift on high, In shades of rose and deepened sigh, The horizon blurs in dusky tones, Where day’s last light and starlight blend. The stars ignite, a scattered lace, That shimmers in the evening's face, The world below in quiet rests, As night unfolds its silken vest.
