If someone ever said That writing poetry is for those Whom you've loved and lost I'd feel as if the sun Was compared to a dot No, my dear, writing is more It's therapy for some And a vent for others Like playing sports So don't diminish Ridicule or minimize it To "lost and never found" Writing poetry is how some people Turn creative When no one else is around On writing poetry.
