A million stories in one city~ Confessions: I didn't get the window seat today, but I am near it. I want to count with my fingers the people I am brushing against. The buzz inside the train qualifies for a book snippet and The blur outside is already a half-chewed poem.

I confess that I hunt,
But I am scared to be a carrier.
They are stories,
They have become stories,
But what of me?
What am I--
I live a million lives,
So I am one of them.
A million stories in one city~

to the brim i fill my days with blur~ i half open my eyes, look for company they're there, eyes darting from railway clock to their wrists, by the time that one drop of sweat stains my cloth, i take a seat opposite to my platform: this i say, is to manipulate other passengers three less potential passengers.

brushing against scenes loaded with happiness~

i would do that.
but why, why do i bore a hole in my being,
why do i crack relationships like knuckles,
why? why do i brush against happiness?

like the tendons of these moments
are scratching me, i don't bleed outside.
soft, soft hearts and dumb little brains
or what's it that i crush in my palms
sweaty palms-- sweat, this heat.

this heat is me making me do things,
i am drenched in sweat and i go hug,
i go hug, "eww!" now-- breaking.
i break when i see them happy,
or rather-- i simply break,
because i do that well.

Along with April, 2022, there is something which is coming to an end today, is the Poem writing month. This month is extremely special to me. No, no spring; no mild summer, nothing that excites me. It is this NaPoWriMo. You know, why? Because, that was April 2018, when I started writing in yourquote and life since then has been extremely lovable. I enjoy writing; I enjoy reading here. I just feel soothed whenever I am here, writing or reading. No matter, how busy my schedule be, I take time to w

How does an end seem?

Is it something, that was meant to be,
No matter, how ardently our desires refused,
But it just appeared as it had to be?

Is it something, that marks yet another beginning,
With more of new promises,
New charms, new beliefs?

Is it something, that pains a little,
To see the clear pictures of loved ones
Chose to fade with every minute?

Is it something, that keeps nearing,
Since the dawn of the day,
Since the first rays of the beginning?

Is it something, that metaphors the dusk,
Adding crimsonness,
To the day, cheerful; or even a little dull?

Is it something, that is inevitable?
As if it is just has to be,
No matter, how picturesque a life appears. Along with April, 2022, there is something which is coming to an end today, is the Poem writing month.

One more chance to grow up. NaPoWriMo Day 29

Peace: A Tale of Quest

I returned to the sea,
To the blue expanse near me.
I went down to its waves,
To drench up my barefeet.
Looking up to the horizon,
Where sun is all set to set,
Strikes me with the thought of days passed by,
The endowed me with the best.
How time flies, when sea shores metaphored
with boundless runs, lots of funs,
Despite of scorching heat,
Away from any exhaustion.
Today, I stand here,
May be sometimes sit by the beach,
But the only constant is the calmed self,
And the chaos of waves summed up with peace.
At times, desires rise,
To get tired once again,
Making sand castles, getting doused with the tides,
To get the boundless happiness once again.
With the gradual evolution of growing up,
The only quest remains is of serenity.
No matter how near I am to the ocean,
The ardency is to find the lost me. One more chance to grow up.

Days back, I read an article where the person has dedicated a verse to the armchair, where his wife used to sit and they used to talk, after his wife passed away. How difficult it becomes to let the person go, who has been a reason of your survival. Dedicated this piece to that immortal love. NaPoWriMo Day 28

Time and Departure

The armchair right infront,
Is empty now.
The evening with a cup of tea,
Seems void, a little more.
No more talks of the entire day,
No more crooning of classics,
No more opening up of an old album,
No more soothing chaos of the breeze.
Since the day of walking together,
Every bliss and worries, we shared.
Since the day of living together,
It were the promises, we cared.
Number of tales, we reaped along,
Has now been the shore of those oceanic memories,
Where I choose to stay a little more,
As I find you there, appearing with a tender smile
Solitude did converge over,
With little tears in the corner of the eyes,
Departure is painfull,
Despite of being a part of life. Days back, I read an article where the person has dedicated a verse to the armchair, where his wife used to sit and they used to talk, after his wife passed away. How difficult it becomes to let the person go, who has been a reason of your survival.

How Far Is That Land? NaPoWriMo Day 27 #NAPOWRIMO

How Far Is That Land?

How far is that land,
Where resides a delightful peace?
How far is that universe,
Where connotation varies, of bliss?
Where presence of every soul matters;
Where clock strikes happy hour?
Where chaos of ocean waves,
Breaks the silence;
Where flock of birds spilled as ink,
Over the blue sky bed;
Where there is dignity of a patient wait;
Where there is a patient listener to every tale?
Where there is hide and seek of sun and clouds,
Painting canvas over the vast green field?
Where there is rare white blossoms,
Adding a beauty to the serene trees?
Where moments keep adding up to
more and more memories?
Where every memory
adds up to another chapter,
In the pages of my diary? How Far Is That Land?

Morning Ode

Early morning, boarded the train,
To a new city, to a new station.
Hundreds of many other people,
Chose to journey
to directions, vivid.
With clouds all around,
The sky seemed a little dull,
Yet many alighted, many left,
The day commenced with mess, and rush.
Crossing number of halts,
We kept going.
The road parallel to the track,
Too kept going.
As if it has destined the same destiny as us,
Or else, just accompanying, till diverged.
Every trees, every small towns left behind,
In the hope of meeting again, gestured a good bye.
With unknown, strange faces everywhere,
wherever the sight reaches,
Yet adding memory of a day together,
in the train's one of the coaches.— % & Have you ever wondered, hundreds of people journey everyday? Unknown to each other, yet bound by a destiny.
