The harvests are collected

Leaving behind a rapture

▪︎The Spring▪︎

Behold! Spring has arrived
Dismantling taboos, so rife
Finding its path over time
To enable me create a new life.

Sleep left my eyelashes
a tad too early today
For, a never-felt pang
hit my body badly today.
Stains on the bed

•Proposing someone•

Travelled a long distance to meet you.
Admist the garden,
I found a rose for our unbreakable bond.
Plucked it with glare all around.
Its hypnotizing fragrance
Its fragile petals
Forced me to hand it over you.
But the thorns sometimes prevent us
From reaching to the beautiful flower.
Some petals started leaving their place.
But still some petals had my hope;
Those were the fragile petals
Holding the burden of a relationship.

And someone brought a flower near me,
Songs of love started in my mind.
Slivers with the flow of wind.
Knees on the ground,
With mouth asking for a bond.
Finally, those petals started leaving their place again,

~But in her hands.

The Dream Doodler

When I close my eyes, that day dances, when I bloomed taking in the aroma, unlike flowers. I wondered, seeing the reflection of shades in the pastel box, I wondered, I contain them all. I was filled with curiosity of every shade in there, I was light carrying so many of them,

•On Unboxing• When I close my eyes, that day dances,

•A Hope

They say,
"The fittest may survive."
And we all thought it was us,
The Homo futurians,
The descendants of the selfish sapiens.
But, I knew, they were wrong.
Everyone's dead, only the Hope survived.

Not even millions, only thousand years into future,
Future everyone dreamt of
Was proven to be a dream for forever.
And we as a kid dreamt of 2000's,
A time when lush green things
Still meant bushes or an unripe fruit, and not a bio grenade.
Although, we've lived those days
Through 4 dimension movies, sensing every smell, every taste.
But never felt a thing.

Oh! Don't you dare you think,
We're no fools, We're smart.
The lo-fi me can mine you thousands of Bitcoins in a sec.
But all this is meaningless now, and I
Regret over it, as I watch
the pale grey dot fade. A hope from the future to the past.
