October 1st, 2023, 5:30 am I can hear the geese honking I can hear the crickets chirping I can hear some birds singing A can hear a car approaching I think the geese are happy I think the crickets are noisy I think the birds are hungry I think the car was a Chevy I hear a noise in the bushes I hope that it quickly passes I hope that it's not the foxes I hope it stays in the darkness I stood up and I went inside I stand here where I preside I look out to view with my eyes And all I see are house flies ©Schizology October 1st, 2023, 5:30 am #October #poem✍🧡🧡💛 #2023🤞
