The horrible day Blemishes of burnt on my soul. Scathing pain is drowning me. In the river which is impure Macabre dreams accompany me. When I see the stars at night Their grotesque pattern whines at me. Moon impersonating a ghoulish face Tries to siphon the blood, eyeing on me. I wait for the dawn to come But the Sun with its rays tightly binds me. As if I am trapped in the oubliette Death is trying its best to bribe me. I try to inveigle life to stay for some more time. Life along with me starts to cry with me. Like a caged soul shackled by its enemies My last few breaths obsecrate me To end this woebegone life Which is drenched in agonies. At last, I see the angels with my closing eyes, They embrace my soul, Extract the pain of this world Which was for my whole life lying with me. #sqbscribbles
