The lunchbox that Ma packed for me is gone with her. Her chola-poory, aalu-paraatha, lal mirche ka achaar she so religiously fit in the lunchbox, the aroma, the love still gives nostalgic vibes that I can't find anywhere. Today, I prepare my plate, nowhere near Ma's cooking leaving me pining for that lunchbox still floating in the memories of my childhood. I recently watched "The Lunchbox" which stars Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur. I really loved the movie, as it's a different love story all together. I wrote this from Ila's (Nimrat's) point if view. LUNCHBOX She and her cute lunchbox, Didn't go well with each other. She always thinks in the evening To cook something for lunch, But she's so lazy after all day work She skips the cooking and manages to have salad in dinner. Daily this is the story. Her lunchbox murmuring in anger, Lying on the corner of shelf, "Why she brought me after all." And she at lunch enjoying, With friends the Arabic foods, Sometimes shawarma, Sometimes falafel or majboos.
