देश की अर्थव्यवस्था का स्तम्भ हूँ, पूंजीपतियों की पूंजी का बृहत स्त्रोत हूँ! फिर भी बेबस मज़बूर क्यों? क्योंकि मैं गरीब मज़दूर हूँ ! विडम्बना है सहस्रवादियों से, समाज का शोषित वर्ग हूँ। कैसे करूँ लॉकडाउन का पालन, नभ के नीचे सोना ही मेरी दस्तूर है! पुलिस की लाठी सहने को मज़बूर क्यों? क्योंकि मैं गरीब मज़दूर हूँ! दो वक़्त की रोटी खातिर, प्रवासी बनने को लाचार हूँ। अमीरों के लिए तो पानी व हवाई जहाज! पर मैं तो पटरी पर कट कर, घर जाने को मज़बूर हूँ! बेकसूर को निःसहाय पीड़ा क्यों? क्योंकि मैं गरीब मजदूर हूँ! गैर ज़िममेदार गरीब को ही कहेंगे अजीब लोग है इस दुनिया में,  बीमारी लाने वाले अमीरों को ज़िम्मेदार नागरिक बताते है, बीमारी और भूखमरी से बचकर घर पलायन करने वाले लोगो को गैर ज़िम्मेदार बताते हैं, अरे ये अजब लोग हैं! गैर ज़िममेदार गरीब को ही कहेंगे। समझ नहीं आता कब दिल्ली दिलवालों से हटकर चंद नेताओं की हो गई, जो भूख से मरते लोगों को खाना नहीं, उत्तर प्रदेश के बस का किराया देते हैं, अरे ये दुनियावाले है! गैर ज़िममेदार गरीब को ही कहेंगे। गज़ब लोग है यहां, अपने घर के लिए ४०० मील पदैल जाते लोग को देख कटु वाणी बोलते है, शायद ये भूल जाते है कि उन्हें भी अपने परिवार को कष्ट देने में खुशी नहीं मिलती, अरे ये गज़ब लोग हैं! भूख से मरते गरीब को ही गैर ज़िम्मेदार कहेंगे। खुशी होती अगर जान लेते की, क्या मजबूरी है इनकी, खुशी होती अगर जान लेते की, भूख इन्हे भी लगती है, दर्द इन्हे भी होता है, अरे ये ज़िम्मेदार नागरिक है! गैर ज़िम्मेदार तो गरीब को ही कहेंगे। #migrantworkers #migrate #coronavirus #coronavirusindia #coronalockdown #coronaeffect #coronadeadlyvirus

HOMEWARD AND FACELESS The fateful year of Twenty Twenty, An abysmal ebb for humanity, An unseen foe turned the breath toxic, Thousands succumbed, and millions fell sick. The ravaged lives of sons of the soil, Who earned a living by sweat and toil, In promising lands, far from home. Now homeless and hungry they roam. Pushed to the brink of existence, A true test of their persistence. On a long and perilous homeward sojourn, Their skin blistered by sunburn. Everyday is a trial to pass, Travelling nor first, nor second but ‘cattle’ class, Packed into trucks, or walking in the sun, Some perished , by vehicles overrun. Its not alms, but compassion they need, A shelter to repose, and a hand that can feed, Betrayed by circumstance and by destiny, Let they not be disowned by their own country, What throbs inside us, and them is the same life, With a touch of compassion, shall we soothe their strife Life doesn’t give many chances to play God, Lets be their lifebuoy , feeding them , and giving an abode. #yqbaba #covid19 #migrantworkers
