How I discovered Poetry. """""""""""""""""""""""""""""" It was when I heard the giggling of rivers, Enjoying company of womanly figures. It was when I savvied the serenity of blue, Presenting itself with multiple hues. It was when I gazed at the twinkling stars, Seeming as vigorous as they are in a war. It was when I looked at the ageless sun, Greeting everyone with majestic turns. It was when I touched the yellow dandelions, Blushing sweetly; it may be its fashion. It was when I felt the descend ing raindrops, Soothing the atmosphere, how stupendous. It was when I embraced the cool breeze, Refreshing the land of giant trees. It was when I looked into my inner soul, Trying every moment to achieve its goal. It was when I fondled my bodily attire, That was fighting hard to conceal the scars. This is how poetry was discovered. Poetry; sets hearts on fire. Poetry; that lies in every nook and corner. HOW I DISCOVERED POETRY "Let's try it once", success wasn't the cessation point, observing them singing, my intension was to indite. Cinderella's melodious verse or Mogli's forest rhyme, my childish desires fancied to masquerading their life. Demand of the phrases was the anticipation of my acts, after a firm adversities, I discovered my puerile poetry. And my poetry was all about my fantasy world 😅. I always knew I liked Poetry and it's genuine purpose Never did I think it could be the lockdown's purpose A Story teller by nature, that's a need by profession A trigger was enough, is my honest confession For my daughter, YQ Baba is an obsession Needless to say, we had many a session Her obsession was indeed my inspiration We always discussed stories in relation Then came the innovation NaPoWriMo Baba Jumped in instantly and left all blah blah Daily challenges kept me busy To try and honour my daily poesy Eighteenth day today Didn't lose a poetry day Strange I thought, As days got hot How even WhatsApp words Now appear more musical like verse Wish NaPoWriMo was NaPoWriYear Could have helped the full year Yaar!
