I was broken again Life has a strange funny way of giving you a reality check. Never in my 60 years of life had i been broken twice in a span of a few moments. I was assigned the duty of bringing my grand kid from the school and was so happy for that. The first day i was more excited than any student and got ready as if going to a party with that bright yellow shirt that Ansh despised but i found so youthful. I reached the school 15 minutes before time and waited anxiously for Ansh to come. The bell rang and in a few moments there was a loud buzz, I saw Ansh running towards me all agog but wait instead of me he ran straight in the open arms of the beauty who i was eyeing a few moments before. They prepped me up, inserting an IV line, after digging five times, till they found a vein. It hurt! I winced with pain. "I don't understand the need for this for a cataract operation" I said. The nurse in charge with a grim face replied "we do this as a precautionary measure". Walked into the OT, didn't need help to climb on the table. It was all over in twenty minutes. Walked out like a one eyed bandit. Spent couple of hours in the recovery room, waiting to be released , to go home. Wait was interminable till bill was settled. Then only they took out the IV line...guess it was to ensure I didn't walk out. GUILT STORY: Pack this one for the business meet and this yellow designer saree and red evening gown would suit to your complexion, Mom adds up stuff to the 3 day luggage for my outstation business trip. I board my train after a squeezy hug and I see tears in her eyes. I wanted to let her know that I have grown up and can take care of myself. My voice unswerving loyalty it showed as I spoke with her. My 3 day trip has been a beautiful experience in my life and when I returned, I had to rush to the office without unpacking my stuff. Exhausted with the mounted 3 days pending work, I want to retire to bed after work. I saw my luggage unpacked and all the things were taken out and washed. With the pictures of my memorable trip with my friends hung on to the wall frame, a guilt in me killed it into ashes as I hid the fact of my trip wasn't really a business trip but a chill out friendly trip. No questions were asked by my Mom except she mentioned that she' was glad that I took the break needed. :The story set in the hospital: Eyes hardly were able to see the row of the lights that was passing throughout the hall. The screeching wheels of the bed that I was laid on, was heard louder and faster as I was taken to my fancy room crossing one ward and the other. It was the day, I delivered my second kid with much complications, but thanks to the God for letting me breathe and bring in a healthy baby to the world. With an immense pain, I was shifting from one bed to the other and an attendee that would attend me 24/7 was arranged by my husband. Lying in pain on that Hospital bed, I would only wish to walk home and relax on my bed around my pillows and a new baby. My thoughts were distracted by a loud snore of the lady who dosed off by the side of the empty food vessels that was supposed to be for the patient. बारिश का वो‌ दिन ( कहानी) 🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀 याद है पहले प्यार की बारिश के वह दिन, होठों की चुप्पी नजरे करें बातें गिन गिन। पढ़ रही थी हल्की हल्की बूंदे बारिश की, बदन पर पढ़ते ही लगे अंगार जैसे। कॉलेज में पढ़ते थे, सुंदर वादियों में था मिलन, बेसब्र थे हम दोनों पर ज़माने का था बंधन। पवित्र सूत्र ‌से बंधे थे हम, नफ्स वो‌ पाक थी, हाए याद हैं मुझे आज भी क्या हसीं रात थी। जब बारिश में भीगते हुए तारीफ की थी उसने‌ गिरा लो इन आंखों पर पलकें अब हम सह ना पाएंगे कुर्बत-ए- नज़र ज़ालिम की ज्यादा पी तो मर जाएंगे। #yostorimo #challenge #बारिशकावोदिन
