POEM How hard it is to be human, How do I bow my humble hands? Before Allah, the One who understands? When will Allah have mercy on us? Deep into your art, A painted world unfolds. Bullet holes reside, Come and look through those window holes. Gaze beyond the boundaries, Unveil the truth, hidden deep, Come and cut my chest with a sharp knife. Come see the brutal cruelty. In my numb consciousness, In this broken, pierced existence, Allah, send your angels to our plight, I failed to find some of my angels too.
