There are some books, which we cherish preserving it for a long time after its engaging read. It has nothing to do with the book cover or the glossy pages or even for that matter its value. The factual thing is, in each of its passing pages, the chapters we read, relate to us. We slowly start feeling the emotions, narratives, manners and traits of the characters. We immerse ourselves in the book as we closely start to identify with the characters and forget about our own identity. Nevertheless, some of these books, no matter how well we try and conserve, tearing of a page makes the conjoined pages also to come off from the holding tag. Slowly, re-visiting them, makes the other pages also to get displaced and over the time, the whole of the pages comes off and the book looses its shape and form. No matter how honestly we try and restore it, in all the likely ways, it never regains its lost charm and magic.
