Staircase to heaven.... Deep into the abyss, He looked up quietly and discreetly.. There was a shiny but bright light, Which was caught by his sight.. It wasn't a fire, nor was it a horn of a demon, It was way above his reach But it seems like he was being summoned. Years gone by, he was left with no hope, Yet it bought something that with one glance Created a world of scope. He believed, or rather he wanted to believe it, There might be a heaven deep within the darkness.. The darkness that he thought would never leave by his side, The fear of which made him or pushed him to hide... He looked sideways, backward and he looked straight, There was it... In the mist which was so heavy and covered the area like a sheet, And would have made anyone who is inside difficult to breathe.. The staircase to heaven... It reached his hand, and he started to walk, The smoke making his feet swayed. But the time spent in the darkness was very little, And none can now make him persuade.. He wanted to climb higher and higher, Until he reached the last step of the stairway.. And say the darkness to stay away, just to stay away..
