where flowers of happiness have never been watered allowing them to bloom. The many plants of life are withering away as they have been flooded by tears of sorrow. I am a widow lost in my own yard of a painful past. I see a bird flying to free me and cage me with him to behold a happy morrow. Shall i fly with him? I wish to see new blooms Smiling in my yard. The cremation of a painful past is long overdue. Will the Fresh flowers spread their fragrance in a bouquet of a beautiful Present? I am optimistic and hopeful. // The Widow's Lament in Springtime // Sorrow is my own yard where the new grass flames as it has flamed often before but not with the cold fire that closes round me this year.

Strive i should to alleviate the pain that life has a habit of inflicting upon all Make everyone happy if I can anyhow then not in vain I would have lived at all. if I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; If I can ease one life from aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his rest again, I shall not live in vain
